On April 25, Twitter officially accepted Elon Musk’s offer to buy out the company for $43 billion dollars. Just 2 days later, on April 27, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security announced the formation of something called a Disinformation Governance Board in order to fight supposed misinformation.
