Mistresses on ABC went on a one-week break so that the live special following the Bachelorette finale could air.

Season 2 will continue on August 4 with new episodes.

Episode 9 on that day is titled “Coming Clean.”

“A shocking phone call brings April’s past back to haunt her. She’s even more rattled when it appears that a strange man is shadowing her every move. Savi takes Joss’s advice and reaches out to her long-absent dad (guest star John Heard). Karen struggles to get Anna to open up and tell the truth, and Toni has some news for Dom,” according to the official description.

No other descriptions are out yet, but episode titles are.

Episode 10 is titled “Charades.”

Episode 11 is titled “Choices.”

Episode 12 is titled “Surprise.”

Mistresses has not yet been renewed for a season 3.

The ratings are not that great, indicating that it might not get renewed.

The season is averaging about 3.8 million viewers per episode with around 1 million in the coveted 18-49 age bracket.

ABC should make a renewal or cancellation announcement before the end of the season or soon after the end.
