Miss World--and Miss Philippines--Megan Young graced the cover of Mega Magazine for the January issue.
Young spoke with Mega about finding her niche in the industry, the world of beauty pageants, her heartbreaking experience when she came home.
“We peel away the many layers of her endearing personality, revealing a true woman of the world,” according to a promotion from the magazine.
JC Cerilla photographed Young while her cover appearance was styled by Patrick Galang, with Albert Kurniawan and John Valle on hair and makeup.
Young is described by the magazine as “ethereal” and “a beauty with a purpose.”
She was lauded in the Philippines for helping raise funds for victims of Typhoon Yolanda, also known as Typhoon Haiyan.
Young was also recently named to People Asia’s list of People of the Year.
