Singer Miley Cyrus and her long-time fiancé, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, appear to confirm rumors that the couple are officially married after social media posts appeared of the couple tying the knot over the weekend.

Cyrus posted three photos on Instagram of the pair in wedding attire sharing an embrace in front of a large floral arrangement. The musician’s white floor-length gown looked stunning against Hemsworth’s traditional black tuxedo matched with a pair of casual white sneakers.

Cyrus wrote the date “12.23.18” in the caption of one of the photos, apparently sharing the day of the wedding with her fans who have expressed their congratulations to the couple.

The couple’s friend, Conrad Jack Carr, also posted photos and videos to his Instagram story of the event on Dec. 23, with Hemsworth and his brothers pictured near some balloons with “Mr.” and “Mrs.” printed on them, according to People. In one of the photos, the bride and groom could be seen with Cyrus’s mother in front of a cake and some cupcakes.
In addition, Cyrus’s younger sister, Noah, uploaded wedding-themed posts to her Instagram story that same day, reported E! News, including a photo of herself crying.

Hemsworth and Cyrus met about 10 years ago on the set of the film “The Last Song” in which they co-starred as love interests. They began dating soon after.

Cyrus captioned another of her wedding Instagram photos: “This is probably our one–millionth kiss.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth hit a rocky patch in their relationship and split after becoming engaged in 2012. They were back together a few years later and more recently shared a home in Malibu together.

The couple then lost the house in November in the Woolsey wildfire that ravaged southern California, and afterward donated $500,000 to charity to help rebuild the community. They shared on social media that they were able to save their animals from the flames.

Cyrus and Hemsworth both posted pictures of their house on social media during that time. Not much was remaining except for the word “LOVE” in large scorched concrete letters in front of a burned-out wall.

“It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love,” said Hemsworth in a caption on Instagram on Nov. 13.

The destructive Woolsey fire destroyed a total of 1,500 structures and killed three people in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Starting on Nov. 8, the fast-moving flames scorched nearly 97,000 acres.

On Cyrus’s 2017 song “Malibu,” she seemed to talk about her love for Hemsworth in the lyrics: “I’d spend the rest of my life just standing here talking / You would explain the current, as I just smile / Hoping I just stay the same and nothing will change / And it’ll be us, just for a while.”

The couple now live together in a house in Tennessee where they appear to have held the wedding.

Cyrus is the daughter of famous country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. They both starred on the hit Disney series “Hannah Montana” as a father-daughter duo from 2006 to 2011.

Hemsworth is best known for his roles in the films “The Hunger Games” and “Independence Day: Resurgence.”
