Want a free (and legit) copy of Windows 7? You’re in luck.

Microsoft is hosting “The New Efficiency” events around the country to show off its shiny new operating system, Windows 7. The launch events will tour 25 cities between Sep. 24 and Nov. 9, and the software giant is planning to give away copies of Windows 7 Professional (yep, you read that right) to all attendees.

Windows 7, due out Oct. 22, is hailed for its stability, multi-core support, and improved performance—in other words, what Windows Vista should have been.

The tour is aimed at IT professionals and software developers, showcasing the features of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The tour kicks off on Sep. 24 in Minneapolis and Denver and ends on Nov. 9 in Houston, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Visit the event’s official website for details.
