The Miami Heat have filled out their roster in the wake of LeBron James’ departure, re-signing many of their players and adding some new pieces.

Fans are particularly wondering what the starting lineup will look like when the season starts.

Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade are automatic starters when they’re healthy. Wade plays shooting guard while Bosh can play power forward or center.

New addition Luol Deng will be starting at small forward.

The other two spots have some uncertainty. Mario Chalmers had a pretty bad playoff run, so Norris Cole could start at point guard even though Cole has only been a high-energy bench player so far in his career. Josh McRoberts or Udonis Haslem could start as the other big man.

At this point, Chalmers will likely retain his starting position, at least at the beginning of the season. If he continues to struggle, expect to see Cole or rookie Shabazz Napier inserted into the lineup as coach Erik Spoelstra tries to find the winning combination.

McRoberts is the more likely starter at power forward. He’s coming off a strong year with the Charlotte Hornets and could use some more minutes to showcase his talent.

Projected Lineup:

Mario Chalmers, Dwayne Wade, Luol Deng, Josh McRoberts, Chris Bosh
