Konami has put out a video that showcases some multiplayer footage.

Players will be able to infiltrate other players Mother Bases and steal their supplies via the Fulton system.

The Fulton system allows Snake to whisk away enemy soldiers, military equipment, and even livestock via a skyrocketing parachute back to one’s Mother Base.

In the video, which is released by IGN, Snake is shown sneaking about the player’s Mother Base, stealing cargo and men.

As Snake is about to accomplish a mission objective, he is suddenly taken out via a rocket launched from a helipad.

The camera then pans up to the helipad, and another Snake is shown holding the bazooka from which the rocket was supposedly fired from.

This means that multiplayer mode could have a PVP, hunting-prey type game mode, which looks to be very challenging and make for many nerve-wrecking, but satisfying, in-game moments.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.

Konami has not announced a release date yet.
