Melbourne Lockdown Returns for 6 Weeks

Melbourne will be put back into lockdown for six weeks from 11.59 p.m. on Wednesday after Victoria recorded its highest ever number of 191 coronavirus cases.

Premier Daniel Andrews confirmed metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire, north of the city, will return to stage three lockdown from 11.59 p.m. on Wednesday.
