The man who disarmed one of the gunman during the Bondi terror attack, saving countless lives, has been officially honoured for his selfless act.

Ahmed Al Ahmed, 43, was awarded a Key to the City and presented with a lifetime beach parking permit by Waverley Mayor Will Nemesh during a ceremony on March 26 night.
