Marie Philip-Poulin won the gold medal game for the Canadians. Now fans are wondering whether the young hockey star has a boyfriend or not.

From Poulin’s social media presence, it appears not. Her photos don’t include any with possible boyfriends, mostly posing with her team or other women. And unlike many of the other Olympians, there has been no mention in Canadian media outlets about Poulin being supported by a significant other at the Winter Games.

Poulin, 22, currently attends Boston University and plays for the hockey team there.

This is her second gold medal as she was part of the team last Olympics as well.

Her two goals helped propel the Canadians over the USA in a tight match.

She has been called the Sidney Crosby of women’s hockey for being so young yet achieving so much already. She played during the 2007-2008 season with the Montreal Stars in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League, and a year later helped the Stars win the Clarkson Cup.

She is a co-captain on the Terriers, which she joined in 2010.
