Mandeville Junior High School in Mandeville, La., is on lockdown Wednesday morning. A loaded handgun was found in the boy’s restroom, reports the Times Picayune.

Two students are being questioned.

Rumors about the presence of the gun were passed onto school authorities by other students prompting the search.

Lt. Gerald Sticker told the Times Picayune there is no immediate danger, but the school is on lockdown as a precaution.
