Paul McStay Maestros will take on Rio Ferdinand All-Stars in a MAESTRIO charity match on Sunday, September 7.

Kick-off time is 9:00 a.m. EDT (2:00 p.m. BST) at Celtic Park.

The game will stream on Celtic TV for subscribers.

The game will pit former Celtic FC legend Paul McStay’s Maestros team against former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand’s All-Stars in a charity match to raise funds for UNICEF and WAR CHILD through Celtic FC Foundation and the Rio Ferdinand Foundation.

According to McStay:

“The teams are full of quality players and hopefully they’ll get a real good turn out and I’m also hoping that some of these guys from the world of entertainment like James McAvoy will have a really good crowd there and with that atmosphere we can achieve something together.

“It’s a day for football fans and they should come along and make it a good day.

“It might be a bit tasty at times with one or two of the characters who will be on the park! But what we want is a success for the charity.”
