A wide array of pyrotechnics are set to ignite New York City’s night skyline for the nation’s largest 4th of July celebration this year.

The fireworks will be launched from seven barges anchored in midtown on the East River.

According to Macy’s, there will be more than 75,000 shells and effects, and more than 3,000 launched per minute.

The clothing chain is predicting that 3 million spectators will gather along shores of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn to witness the 42nd annual event.

Kelly Clarkson, along with the West Point Band and the West Point Glee Club, will perform “God Bless America.”

The display is engineered to synchronize with the music, which will include  such classics as “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

This year’s firework array will include neon pinwheels, swirling water fountains, brocade horse tails, ghosting fans, blooming ring chases, and pulsing hearts.

The centerpiece for the display is Macy’s signature Golden Mile, which paints the sky with an assortment of golden-hued effects that extend a mile across the river and 1,000-feet up.
