Louis Tomlinson joined Harry Styles in expressing condolences to the family of Magda Szablinska, a fervent One Direction fan who recently died.
Following her death, the #RIPMagda hashtag trended on Twitter, with many other fans of the band expressing grief over her death.
She appeared to be a big fan of the group, with multiple photos of her with members of the group. She said in her Twitter bio that she helped support them.
After Styles said he was sad to hear that Magda had died, Tomlinson also expressed his condolences via Twitter.
“Just heard the news about Magda :( it’s really upset me she was a lovely girl and devoted fan,” he said.
“All the love in the world to her family.”
Magdalena Szablinska, 16, collapsed outside a bus stop at St. Mark’s Catholic School in Hounslow in London. Reports said that she suffered cardiac arrest and medics were unable to revive her when she was taken to the hospital.
