Liz Cheney Will Keep Top House GOP Position, Republican Leader Says

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) will remain as the House Republican Conference Chair, the party’s leader in the lower chamber said Thursday.

“Yes,” House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) told reporters in Washington when asked whether Cheney would keep her position as the No. 3 Republican in the House.
