The winners of the 2019 Little League World Series are flying home from Washington to Louisiana in style—aboard Air Force One.
The players met again with Trump at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, where they boarded the presidential plane together.
Trump was headed to Louisiana for a political rally in Lake Charles.
Congressman Steve Scalise (R-La.) joined the team on the trip.
In addition to the White House, they toured the U.S. Capitol building during their visit to Washington on Friday.
Scalise said the boys enjoyed pizza and M&M’s on the flight home.
They certainly earned it.
The team beat Curacao 8-0 and won Louisiana’s first-ever Little World Series title in August. Trump extended a special invitation to the team to visit him in Washington 95 minutes after Scalise declared team winners on social media.
Congratulations to Louisiana’s Champions. See you at the White House! https://t.co/Qadi7uD5U4

At the rally Friday night, Trump brought members of the Eastbank All-Stars to the stage, where they received rousing cheers from the audience.
Trump says he had grown accustomed to watching Japan winning the event. But before introducing the players one by one to the crowd, he said, “But this year you have the world champions.”
The Eastbank All-Stars are based in suburban New Orleans. Trump told the team: “You don’t know what the word choke means.”
