Tired of playing the part, actress Carly Schroeder is ready to make a difference in the real world: she’s enlisting with the United States Army. The decision hasn’t come lightly for the 28-year-old actress, who has enjoyed years of success as Melina Bianco in the Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire and Serena Baldwin in General Hospital spinoff Port Charles, but her reasons are plenty.
