The new Nissan Armada is more capable while providing superb technology, premium styling, and comfort. Connectivity is addressed with Wireless Apple CarPlay Integration, Android Auto, plus Door to Door Navigation and Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System.

Inside, a contemporary, redesigned interior offers simplified everyday usage and enhanced experience for the occupants. The redesigned center stack is anchored by a 12.3-inch color display, which is complemented by a 7-inch Advanced Driver Assist Display in the gauge cluster, the largest in class. Together they have the important information readily available at all time.

Convenient features like Wi-Fi Hotspot and Wireless Charging join a whole host of technologies. Standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 features Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Assist.

Additional available safety tech includes Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, and Intelligent Back-Up Intervention.

The Armada is one comfortable vehicle. The 10-way power driver seat with 2-way power lumbar support, and the 8-way power front passenger seat with 2-way power lumbar support, are both heated and cooled. Quality seats is the foundation to providing an excellent atmosphere of comfort.

The 60/40-split fold-down heated second-row seats, and power folding third-row seats make it easy to load or unload people or cargo. Three-row seating provides room for up to 8 passengers. Leather, leather everywhere. The leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, leather shift knob, and quilted leather-appointed seats are all examples of leather expansiveness.

The 2021 Armada is powered by a big-muscle 5.6-liter direct injection Endurance V8 engine, providing up to 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. This engine is partnered with an advanced 7-speed automatic transmission. Front and rear ventilated disc brakes, Intelligent 4×4, and drive mode selector are part of the performance ensemble.

Along with all that power Armada can boast best-in-class standard 8,500-pound maximum towing capability. Keeping the vehicle firmly on the ground is the responsibility of double-wishbone front and rear suspension with stabilizing bars and twin tube shock absorbers. Integrated Trailer Brake Controller with tow hitch receiver and trailer sway control allows room for more cargo to be transported safely.

The big 4WD Armada still gets 18 mpg on the highway and 13 mpg in the city, for a 15 mpg combined average. The 2021 Armada features an extensively redesigned exterior that includes a new grille, hood, front fender, front and rear bumpers, plus new LED headlights and taillights.

The rugged body-on-frame construction provides a balance of strength, durability, and utility.

Whether it is the small things like illuminated cup holders or aesthetic items like the power sliding moonroof, Nissan engineers set out to make the most attractive, comfortable, powerful, and safe vehicle possible. I think they have succeeded.
