Kentucky Lawmakers Override Governor’s Veto of Abortion Restrictions

Kentucky lawmakers on April 13 overrode Gov. Andy Beshear’s veto of legislation that makes it more difficult to obtain abortions.

The Kentucky House of Representatives voted 31–6 and the Kentucky Senate voted 76–21 to override the veto by Beshear, a Democrat.
