Kate Middleton is expecting a baby girl for her second child, according to a new report.
The 32-year-old Duchess is slated to deliver the child early next year.
Kate was treated to an all-pink baby shower because of the news that she’s having the girl, according to Star magazine. The Queen was delighted with the news.
Young sister Pippa Middleton, 31, helped to plan the party.
“There were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake,” a source close to the royal couple told the magazine.
The cake was filled with strawberry filling, continuing the theme.
And Kate’s firstborn Prince George was the star of the party, enchanting everyone with his actions as he ate a lot.
“He had pink icing all around his mouth and everyone was taking photos of him,” the source said, noting that George loved being the center of attention.
This isn’t the first time that reports have indicated that Kate is expecting a girl. Life & Style reported in its November 24th issue that friends of the couple said Kate and William are “thrilled” because they’re having a girl.
The National Enquirer tabloid reported around the same time that the royal couple is expecting a girl.
There’s no official confirmation of the gender of the child, but it’s worth noting that no reports so far have indicated that it’s going to be a boy--whether they’re based on facts or just wishful thinking.
