Justin Bernard Singleton has been identified as one of four suspects in the SC State shooting on Friday.

The shooting prompted officials to lockdown the university. A student who was injured died around 6 p.m.

Singleton is being pursued by police who identified him, reported Scott Cooke of WLTX.

Singleton lives in Orangeburg and studied at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, according to his Facebook profile. He is from Charleston.

He also worked at Bethune-Bowman Middle and High School in an unspecified position.

Officials are looking for three other suspects, they said in a press release. “Eyewitnesses on the scene of the incident identified at least four suspects in the shooting and police immediately began to pursue the individuals who, at that time, had left campus.”
