Warrants were issued Thursday for Speck Mellencamp, 18, and Hud Mellencamp, 19, sons of singer John Mellencamp, according to Fox News

The two allegedly beat up a 19-year-old in July. The victim had facial fractures and required stitches, reports the Herald Times. The victim told the Bloomington Police Department he was sitting on his porch in Bloomington, Ind., when the two Mellencamp teens and their friend, Ty Smith, approached. When the victim asked what they wanted, Speck Mellencamp allegedly began hitting him, reports the Herald Times.

The Mellencamps explained to the police that Speck Mellencamp had been hit earlier while attending a party at the house. Upset, he had returned to the house.

Speck Mellencamp had given his father a black eye, the singer told David Letterman in June. (See video below)

John Mellencamp told Letterman his son is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs almost 200 pounds. He joked, “My son punches me and my dad calls up and tells me, ‘John, you’ve got to change your attitude.’”
