Jessa Duggar says that she and fiance Ben Seewald might have more than 19 children.

Jessa’s family is famous for being very large. Parents Jim Bob and Michelle have had 19 children so far.

Jessa said in a new video clip from TLC, which airs the family’s reality show, that she might surpass her parents.

“I might have more than 19 kids. Probably not all biological, but I want to adopt a lot,” she said, smiling.

Her sister Jill and mother Michelle, who are sitting next to her, seem surprised.

Jessa, 21, previously said that Ben, 19, will be a great dad as he “is excellent with kids.”

The couple told Star Magazine that they plan on having a big family.

“We’re both open to children and looking forward to starting a family of our own. We also really want to adopt,” Jessa said.

“We’ve got a lot of different ideas about what we’re going to do, but adopting is definitely one of them,” Ben said.

Meanwhile, Ben’s family threw a last-minute shower for Jessa and Ben just ahead of their November 1 wedding. Pictures show the couple receiving gifts and hanging out with both sides of the family.

Ben’s mother Guinn said earlier this year that she believes Jessa is both strong and intelligent.

“She is very strong,” Guinn told People magazine. “She is very intelligent. She has a lot to offer to a conversation. She has great ideas – I have enjoyed getting to know her.”

Ben’s father Michael added: “She is exactly who we would want our son to have a relationship with.”
