Jennifer Lopez will be holding a free concert at Orchard Beach in the Bronx on Wednesday, June 4. The concert, presented by State Farm, is being heralded as a “homecoming” for the actress/dancer/singer turned American Idol judge as she'll revert to her “Jenny From The Block” roots.

Free General Admission tickets for the show sold out quickly while Premiere Partner Zone Tickets are still available. To get the Premiere tickets, a $160 donation (after fees) would be made to benefit State Farm’s charity partners.

In a release on May 15, Lopez said that she feels “humbled and honored to be doing the first concert in the Bronx.” “I am very excited to return home and give the people and the community that inspired me a great show. Of all the summer days I spent in Orchard Beach, this will be one to remember,” she adds.

State Farm is presenting a series of concerts throughout the summer called State Farm Neighborhood Sessions with the biggest names in the industry to give “thanks” to the community that inspired them to pursue their dreams.

Although this free concert is a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans that couldn’t normally afford to see her perform, there are nearby residents that are less than excited to see Lopez perform.

Nearby City Island residents are complaining that the concert would cause heavy traffic for those who heavily rely on the Pelham Drawbridge that goes to both Orchard Beach and City Island.

City Island Civic Association said in an interview with CBS New York local that  it’s worried the road off of Interstate-95 heading to City Island Road will turn into a parking lot.

25,000 are estimated to attend Lopez’s free performance and buses will be available to get to the Beach and back.
