Japan Earthquake Today: 5.8 Quake Hits Near Ito, Atami, Tokyo

An earthquake hit today near Ito, Atami, and Toko, among other areas of Japan.

The quake was measured as 5.8 magnitude by the U.S. Geological Service and 6.2 by Japan’s equivalent agency.

The quake was 14 miles east-southeas tof Ito, 19 miles southeast of Atami, 22 miles southeast of Yuhaware, 24 miles southwest of Miura, and 58 miles south-southwest of Tokyo.
