Israel Charges Palestinian Engineer With Terrorism
Six weeks after abducting a Palestinian engineer off a train in Ukraine, Israeli authorities Monday charged the engineer, Dirar Abu Sisi, with terrorism for allegedly conspiring with Hamas, media reported.

Sisi is the head of the only power plant in Gaza. In the indictment, Israeli authorities charge that he has helped Hamas develop missiles and improve their rocket technology, according to a report by the Jerusalem Post.

Sisi maintains he is innocent. And Hamas also said Sisi did not work for them, according to a report by ABC.

He was traveling to Kyiv to meet his brother on Feb. 19 when he was escorted off the train by two men in military uniforms and taken to a prison in Israel.

Veronica, Sisi’s wife who is Ukrainian, told the The Epoch Times in an earlier report that Sisi is being targeted because Israel wants information about the Gaza plant.
