The four-day Islamabad fashion week ended on Jan. 30 and featured vibrant colors and flowing designs, truly uniting the best of Pakistan’s traditional colors and fabrics with modern elements from the West.

The event featured many of Pakistan’s most well-known designers, who are hoping to spur renewed interest from Western buyers. Textiles are one of Pakistan’s most important industries, making up more than half of the country’s total exports.
