The season finale of How I Met Your Mother will air Monday, March 31, 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, on CBS.

The finale is entitled “Last Forever,” and is a two-part, one hour special.
This episode will be available online after the TV broadcast on CBS.com, Amazon Instant Video, and iTunes.
In this episode Ted Mosby (played by Josh Radnor, Future Ted voice-over by Bob Saget) will finally conclude the story he’s been telling his kids of how their mother and him met.
Ted’s kids, Penny (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Luke (David Henrie), will also learn what happened to the gang (Lily, Marshall, Robin, Barney) in the 17 years after Robin and Barney’s wedding.
The Mother’s (Cristin Milioti) name will finally be revealed in this episode.
Josh Radnor tweeted 3 hours before the finale that viewers are “gonna be okay,” possibly in response to morbid theories about the ending.
