An employee of Disneyland Paris was found dead in the one of the theme park’s attractions prior to the park’s opening on April 2, according to an Evening Standard report.

The 45-year-old, 14-year veteran of Disneyland, is said to have died inside Phantom Manor, a haunted house attraction that features ghouls and ghosts.

Coworkers discovered his body around 10 a.m., prompting an immediate closure of the ride—which will most likely remain closed until April 6 due to police activity.

Publicly unidentified, it is believed he was working on lighting when he died.

The Standard reported that the incident was deemed “accidental death by electrocution,” although full details will be disclosed upon release of an autopsy.

A spokesman said the park’s management is “deeply saddened” by the man’s passing and sent condolences to his family—also confirming the investigation was ongoing, conducted by police and electricians.
