The Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas launch event is ending soon.

According to a Blizzard blog post, the Hearthstone Adventure’s launch event is ending on September 30, 8:59 p.m. EDT (11:59 p.m. PDT).

After that date, Hearthstone players will not be able to access the Arachnid Quarter, the first wing in Curse of Naxxramas, for free.

There are five wings in Curse of Naxxramas in total, namely, the Arachnid Quarter, the Plague Quarter, the Military Quarter, the Construct Quarter, and the Frostwyrm Lair.

Unlocking each wing grants the player four new cards, one of which is a Legendary card. In total, Curse of Naxxramas offers 30 cards to collect, 15 bosses to defeat, and 9 class challenges to complete.

The Arachnid Quarter features the Haunted Creeper (2 mana, 1/2 with “Deathrattle: Summon two 1/1 Spectral Spiders”), Nerub'ar Weblord (2 mana, 1/4 with the ability “Minions With Battlecry cost 2 mana more”), and Nerubian Egg (2 mana, 0/2 “Deathrattle: Summon a 4/4 Nerubian”).

The Legendary card from the wing is Maexxna, (6 mana, 2/8 with the ability “Destroy any minion damaged by this minion”)

These cards will be granted to the player after defeating each of bosses — Anub'Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna.

Each wing in Curse of Naxxramas can be purchased for 700 in-game gold or $6.99 cash.

Blizzard offers a discount if multiple wings are purchased with cash at one go:

- All five wings: $24.99

- Own first wing: $19.99

- Own first two wings: $14.99

- Own first three wings: $9.99

Hearthstone itself is free to play, and is currently available for Windows PC, Mac, and the iPad. Blizzard are currently working on the Android and iPhone apps.
