While Captain America (Chris Evans) is frozen in ice, Agent Carter builds her career as a secret agent.
That’s the premise for a new show that ABC and Marvel have moved closer to bringing to television.
Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, creators of “Reaper,” have been tapped as showrunners.
Paul Lee, president of the ABC Entertainment Group, told the Television Critics Association on Friday that the script has come in for the show. He called it good.
That certainly has a good chance to be on the network,” Lee said, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who wrote “Captain America,” wrote the script.
Atwell will be a part of the potential series, Lee confirmed.
“She’s such a strong, wonderful character if you’ve seen the one-shot,” said Butters. “We’re happy to be involved.”
