Virginia police have located a missing teenager who was believed to be in danger.

Jasmine Nicole Keefer, 15, went missing from Mechanicsville on December 27; she had last been seen in the west end of Henrico County the next day.

In an alert, authorities said Keefer was possibly in danger. The Lee-Davis High School student also did not have her required medication with her.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said late on New Year’s Eve that Keefer had been located.

“We would like to thank our media and law enforcement partners, particularly the Henrico Police and Virginia State Police for their assistance,” the office said.

“As a result of the investigation an 18-year-old Henrico resident, Holden Walters of the 1600 block of Sprenkle Court, has been charged by the Henrico Police, with Obstruction of Justice and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. A mug shot is not yet available.”
