Grovetown, Georgia police officers are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another wounded.
Neighbors told WJBF that the residence, 455 Northrop Place, was owned by a young military couple.
The male victim, who was confirmed dead, was in the Army; the female victim, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, is in the Air Force.
Public Safety Chief Scott Wheatley told WRDW that the shooting began as a domestic dispute.
Investigators were preparing to examine the multiple firearms in the home.
The victims are not being identified until family is notified.
