A new Godzilla (2014) trailer was release on Saturday, April 5, 4:00 p.m. ET, and more footage of the new kaiju has been revealed.
The movie’s toy line has given the clearest indication yet that there will be another kaiju (strange monster) apart from Godzilla in the movie.
Earlier trailers have revealed the creature’s “foot.”

This “Extended Look” trailer goes one further, showing the creature’s bizarre head in a blink-and-you-miss-it split second.

It seems like the new kaiju is attacking a ship in that brief shot.
The opening sequence of the trailer reveals more of Bran Cranston character Joe Brody’s tragic story.
Brody’s wife (Juliette Binoche) is seen entering the Janjira nuclear plant for some work, before the nuclear plant appears to undergo a malfunction of some sort.
In a touching scene, Brody is seen trying to get to his wife, but ultimately fails because he has to close a safety door to prevent a radiation cloud entering a supposedly “safe” section of the plant. In a touching moment, Brody and his wife see each other through the door’s glass panel before steel doors close in, sealing off the couple forever.

“The evacuated us so quickly. You know I did everything I could,” Brody said to his son, Ford (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).

The rest of the trailer shows more kaiju havoc, and ends with a good look of Godzilla’s mouth and molars.
