The Game of Thrones episode 1 release date has been announced, and spoilers and casting news has been coming out about the hit HBO show.

Episode 1 will premiere on April 6.

Let’s take a look at some of the spoilers and casting news:

-A new character, Bloodraven (also known in the books as the Three-Eyed Crow and in the show as the Three-Eyed Raven), is going to be introduced, played by Struan Rodger, reported Zap2It. Season 4 will contain storylines from book 3 (“A Storm of Swords”) and book 4 (“A Feast of Crows”), and possibly book 5 (“A Dance with Dragons”).

-Season 4 will be delving deep into Bran Stark’s storyline Stark is expected to meet Bloodraven and could learn about his ability to see through the weirwoods.

-Octavia Alexandru will play the first Child of the Forest introduced in the series, possibly Leaf.

-Yara Greyjoy and her crew, who set off to find Theon Greyjoy in the end of season 3, may travel to Moat Cailin, which she captures in the books.

-Tyrion Lannister is chained, awaiting trial for the death of the king Joffrey Baratheon.

-Rast, last seen murdering The Old Bear Jeor Mormont, delivers a baby to the Others, possibly one of Craster’s Wive’s children, according to IGN.

-Theon may be up and free, possibly rescued by Yara, reported io9.

-Daenerys frees a group of slaves, probably from Meereen.

-The Hound, Sandor Clegane, may be mortally wounded during a brawl with outlaws in an inn.
