When could Samsung be launching the Galaxy Note Edge?

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note Edge along side the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3 at the IFA trade fair in Berlin.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a small, curved separate screen on its right edge. This curious innovation will be able to display an additional strip of apps, or can be customized to show Twitter feeds, stock tickers, and other information.

Because the edge screen is separate from the main on, users will be able to view updates and notifications on it without having to activate the main screen.

The Galaxy Note Edge may be the next best thing since sliced bread, but the Korean tech giant has been keeping quiet about when exactly they will be releasing the phablet in stores. In contrast, Samsung has revealed all the international release dates for the Galaxy Note 4.

Samsung will definitely be releasing the Note Edge sometime in the fourth quarter, according to Forbes

GottaBeMobile gives a more definite date range, claiming that the Note Edge should be out in the month of October.

Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint will definitely be carrying the Note Edge in the United States, but there is no word on whether US Cellular is carrying the phablet.
