The Galaxy Note 4 will be released in September.

That’s according to the latest rumors and the upcoming Samsung phone.

The Note 4 will be unveiled at a pre-IFA 2014 Samsung Unpacked event on September 3.

An executive at a Samsung partner company told The Korean Times that the invitations for the event are expected to go out in August.

Samsung has declined to comment about a specific release date but an executive, Yoon Han-kil, told Reuters that the firm is planning to launch the phone in the second half of the year.

An insider previously told Android Geeks that the phone would be released for sale on September 3 after the event.

A price hasn’t been leaked yet but is expected to be initially in the $300-$400 range with a contract.

Lots more information about the specs has come out, indicating that the phone will be a phablet.

According to BGR.com, the Note 4 will likely be an “absolute beast of a phone” with alleged specs including a 5.7-inch QHD display and a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. The other rumored specs include a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor to go with an 16-megapixel camera .

Supplier sources told the Times that the phone will likely comes in two versions--one with a flat display, and one with a curved display. The latter will look somewhat like the Galaxy Round.

EV Leaks reported that the Note 4 will come in the same colors as Galaxy S5, or Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue, and Copper Blue.
