The Galaxy Alpha could have been launched in Russia already, and more specs have been revealed.
According to Samsung firmware and upcoming hardware tracking site SamMobile, there was an event in Moscow recently called Samsung Galaxy Alpha Regatta by PROyachting.

SamMobile believes that Samsung Galaxy Alpha Regatta is a “promotional event on a small scale” where a small number of people were invited to test the phone out.
Samsung should be announcing the phone in Russia next week and it will be out in stalls in mid-September.
As for other countries, earlier rumors have it that the Korean tech giant is launching the phone on either August 4 or August 13.
The Galaxy Alpha is believed to pack a 4.7-inch 720p display, Exynos octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 12-megapixel rear camera and 2.1 megapixel front camera, 1,860mAh battery, come with a fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor, and run Android 4.4 KitKat.
SamMobile also suggests that the Galaxy Alpha will have either 32GB or 64GB of storage.
Earlier leaked pictures reveal that the Galaxy Alpha has an iPhone-like body, but is much thinner.
