JEFFERSON CITY—The 2020 presidential election is the first one Boston Hauser has ever voted in; he wasn’t quite old enough back in 2016. But the widespread allegations of fraud had him out on the streets protesting, so that his vote would count for something.

“I love this country more than anything. This country means everything to me, and to see our freedom being destroyed, the liberty tree is dying,” he said. “To have this election taken away from us, especially my first election, for someone I’m so passionate about, Trump, he’s done such great things and they’re trying to take that away, and they’re trying to destroy this country and this republic.”

“This is the final stand,” he said.

Hauser joined a Stop the Steal rally in Jefferson City, Missouri on Nov. 21, 2020. Thousands had participated in grassroots rallies in state capitals across the country on Nov. 7, 2020, and again a week later on Nov. 14 across the country with more traveling to Washington to demonstrate. Many have committed to rally every Saturday until results are certified on Dec. 14.

The investigations into the fraud have uncovered something that isn’t random, Hauser said.

“The voter fraud is being proven all over the country,” he said. “This is either the beginning of the new age of our republic or it’s the fall of our republic, its destruction.”

If the election is stolen, communism wins, he added, and it will destroy the country. But he had faith that won’t be the final outcome.

“Absolutely, I have no doubt in my mind,” Hauser said of President Donald Trump’s re-election. In fact, he already has plans to visit Washington for Trump’s inauguration.

Hauser says he has friends who support Biden and they’re fine with each other, but in the Ozarks where he’s from, most of his peers are Trump supporters.

“I’ve seen overwhelming support for Trump in my age group, that I know personally,” he said.
