Supreme Court Holds a Hearing on the Helms-Burton Act

The Supreme Court holds a case hearing on Exxon Mobil Corp. v. Corporación Cimex, S.A. (24-699), to examine whether the Helms-Burton Act can abrogate the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) in cases against Cuban instrumentalities. This hearing is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET on Feb. 23.
