Senate Expected to Takes Preliminary Vote on Kash Patel’s Nomination for FBI Director

The U.S. Senate is expected to takes a cloture vote on the nomination of Kash Patel to be director of the FBI, and also takes the final vote on the confirmation of Howard Lutnick for secretary of commerce. The voting begins at around 5:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 18.
