Following the raid on Mar-a-Lago, affidavits were released. Former President Donald Trump’s legal team issued an official request to the court, in order to have the judge assign a "special master" to review the documents that were seized from Trump’s home.
A special master would be appointed to review the materials that were collected by the government, essentially to vet them, and sift out any privileged documents before government officials can look at them. However, there is a problem.
