Manchester United could move for Yevhen Konoplyanka, Liverpool makes a bid for Dejan Lovren, and Yaya Toure is seeking a move away from Manchester City.

Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka could be headed to Man United, according to The Mirror.

New Man United boss Louis Van Gaal is said to be interested in the 24-year-old Ukrainian, who could be sold for a fee of £12 million ($20 million).

Liverpool are also interested in Konoplyanka, even though the club failed to secure his signature after failed transfer talks during the January transfer window.

Defense is still the priority for the Merseyside giants (the Reds have shipped 50 goals this season), and Liverpool have placed a £8 million ($13.5 million) bid for Southampton defender Dejan Lovren, according to the Sun.

The 24-year-old told the Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti that: “I follow the media and I saw that Liverpool is allegedly interested in me. But that is all that I know so far.

“I feel great at Southampton and my contract is valid for the next three years, so the only thing I can say right now is that the club is the one who decides,” he added.

Meanwhile, want-away Man City midfielder Yaya Toure has been linked with a number of clubs.

The Daily Star speculates that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcalona could make a bid for the 31-year-old attacking midfielder from Ivory Coast.

Yaya Toure is supposedly angry that Man City failed to wish him happy birthday when he turned 31 last week.

Dimitry Seluk, Toure’s agent, has insisted that his client is unhappy with the “disrespect” shown by City’s owners.

In an interview with beIN Sports on Tuesday, Yaya said that “everything is open” with regard to him moving away from the Etihad.

“Yes, I have talked before about ending my career at Barcelona -- but we don’t know because football is moving fast and you never know about tomorrow,” Toure said.

“My agent, Dimitry, is always on the phone and he knows what he has to do because I trust him a lot.”

“The main thing now is just to try and focus on the World Cup and he knows what he has to do because we were always open about everything and I am able to talk with him for a couple of days now.

Toure added, “Because of the brilliant season Manchester City have had, everybody is talking about me and everything is open and we don’t know tomorrow.”
