Liverpool are signing Mario Balotelli and Samuel Eto'o, Manchester United move for Sami Khedira, and Fernando Torres could be on his way out of Chelsea.

After 31 goal striker Luis Suarez traded Merseyside for Catalonia, Liverpool have been in the hunt for top strikers, and could sign not one, but two before the transfer window is up.

AC Milan and former Manchester City “problem child” Mario Balotelli is reportedly very close to a sealing a deal with the Reds, but Liverpool could still sign former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o, according to Sky Italia (via Metro).

A deal could be sealed soon for the 33-year-old veteran, who scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists for Chelsea in all competitions during the 2013/2014 season as per WhoScored.

Balotelli scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists for Milan in 31 appearances for Milan last season, and will move for a £16 million ($26.5 million) fee.

Meanwhile, World Cup winner Sami Khedira could be on his way to Old Trafford, Manchester Evening News reports.

The 27-year-old German international and Real Madrid player refused to sign a new deal with the Los Blancos, and new United manager Louis van Gaal is keen on making a move.

Van Gaal originally wanted Roma’s Kevin Strootman, but the Holland international has yet to fully recover from his anterior cruciate injury, and Van Gaal’s needs are pressing, given that United pass master Michael Carrick is out until October with an ankle injury.

Over at Stamford Bridge, mis-firing striker Fernando Torres could be shown the exit door soon as Chelsea has offered to swap him with Roma’s Mattia Destro, according to the Times.

Destro, 23, is a highly rated striker in the Serie A. He bagged 13 goals in 14 appearance for Roma in the 2013/2014 season as per WhoScored.

Destro is valued at £20 million ($33.2 million), but could go for much lesser with if Torres is included in the deal.
