Manchester United are in for Arturo Vidal and Daley Blind, Liverpool might not get Marco Reus, and Tottenham Hotspur eye Danny Welbeck.

After completing a record £59.7million move for Angel di Maria on Tuesday, new Man United boss Louis van Gaal is now keen to make a bid for both Arturo Vidal and Daley Blind, the Mirror reports.

The EPL transfer deadline is approaching this coming Monday, and Van Gaal sees the need to strengthen his side significantly, especially after the Red Devils were humiliated 4-0 by League One’s MK Dons in the English League Cup.

United have been asking about Vidal all summer, and Juventus are demanding £30 million ($49.7 million) for the outstanding box-to-box midfielder.

Blind has also been linked with United after his brilliant World Cup 2014 performances and because he was coached by Van Gaal while part of the Netherlands squad.

Ajax have said that they won’t stop Blind from leaving, and want £15 million ($24.9 million) for him.

Up on Merseyside, Liverpool are looking to bring in Marco Reus, but are likely to lose out to Real Madrid for the German international’s signature, according to Fichajes.net.

Reus, 25, has supposedly had a verbal agreement with Real Madrid for a move in the 2015/2016 season.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with Reus.

The Borussia Dortmund striker could go for only £19.9 million ($33 million).

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur could pick up Man United’s Danny Welbeck on loan.

The England striker has been told that he is not needed at United, and has a tough time finding regular football in recent seasons.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to rescue Welbeck from obscurity on the United bench via a loan deal, the Daily Mail reports.
