Javier Hernandez could be leaving Manchester United, Danny Welbeck is being targeted by Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, and Shinji Kagawa could find himself back at Borussia Dortmund.

Out of favor Man United striker Javier Hernandez has been linked with a number of clubs as the September 2 transfer deadline looms, according to the Express.

The 26-year-old Mexican international has been United’s fourth choice striker for a number of years, and looks set to leave the club this summer through one deal or another.

Chicharito was linked with Juventus, Valencia, Tottenham, and Southampton over the summer.

The latest to be linked with Hernandez is Real Madrid, who could take the striker on loan if they fail to sign Man City’s Alvaro Negredo or Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.

Another United striker who could be on his way out is Danny Welbeck.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur could sign the striker for £15 million ($24.9 million), and Everton are also in the hunt for his signature.

Welbeck himself prefers a loan move, which could yet materialize as the transfer clock winds down.

One Red Devil that has definitely left the club is midfielder Shinji Kagawa.

The Japan international signed a new four-year contract with Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee on Sunday, August 31.

Kagawa told the Dortmund official website: “The day I left, I said in an interview that the chapter Borussia Dortmund was not closed in my life.

“I wanted to fulfill my dream of playing in the Premier League. Now I am simply delighted to be back in Dortmund with this fantastic team and set-up and these unique fans.

“BVB is like a family and I am proud that they did not forget me and that I can belong to it once more,” Kagawa concluded.

Earlier, Kagawa was linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund, his former club, for a fee of £6.3 million ($10.5 million), about almost half the fee that he was signed for in 2012.

Kagawa has made known that it prefers to play in a more central role, but so far, Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, and current manager Louis van Gaal have preferred to play Kagawa on the left of midfield.

Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has said that he will welcome Kagawa back, the Daily Mail reports.
