Manchester United look to sign Angel di Maria, Petr Cech could leave Chelsea, and Ross Barkley shouldn’t be leaving Everton for Manchester City.

Man United are in the advanced stage of negotiations for Real Madrid’s Angel di Maria, according to the Telegraph.

The 26-year-old Argentinian midfielder feels that there isn’t a future for him with the Los Blancos after the Spanish cup purchased Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez over the summer, and has been wanting to leave for some time.

Real manager Carlo Ancelotti has allowed Di Maria to exit the club, and he could now move to Old Trafford for a feel of £60 million ($99.4 million).

United are set to be stalling because of the huge transfer fee and Di Maria’s personal demands.

Over at Stamford Bridge, veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech supposedly wants out, according to the Daily Mail.

The 32-year-old Czech Republic international is unhappy with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho because he prefers to start young Thibaut Courtois as the no. 1 goalie instead of him.

Cech reportedly doesn’t even wish to communicate with Mourinho in private, and wants to leave by this week.

Paris Saint Germain, Monaco and a number of Spanish clubs are keeping tabs on Cech’s situation.

Finally, Ross Barkley should be staying put at Everton, after Man City abandoned plans to sign him after they were told they have to cough up in excess of £50 million ($82.9 million) to get him, the Mirror reports.

City originally wanted to make a £30 million ($49.7 million) bid with an offer for additional payments should the 20-year-old reach his potential.
