Liverpool are looking to sign Xherdan Shaqiri but will face competition, Manchester United could land Arturo Vidal, and Sami Khedira may be moving to Arsenal.

Liverpool want to sign Bayern Munich’s Xherdan Shaqiri but will face competition from Juventus, according to the Daily Star.

Earlier this month, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers looked set to securing a £15 million ($25.5 million) deal for the 22-year-old Swiss international, but nothing has yet materialized.

The lack of a concrete deal has prompted the Serie A champions to negotiate a deal with Shaqiri, and Rodgers could yet again lose out on a big name signing.

Juventus’s interest in Shaqiri seems odd, given that they might be selling one of their best players to Man United.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus boss Antonio Conte is needs to get more funding, and could placing midfielder Vidal and Fernando Llorente on sale.

Vidal was instrumental in Juventus’s successes, scoring 28 goals in 95 appearances in the Serie A.

The 27-year-old Chilean could go for as little as €30 million ($40.7 million).

Meanwhile, Arsenal could be bringing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira to the Emirates, Sport reports.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is supposedly looking to bring in his former Chelsea signing Ramires to the Bernabeu, and the 27-year-old midfielder may have to make way for the Brazilian.

Should Khedira leave for Arsenal, he will join the growing number of German players in North London. Already, Khedira’s German teammates Mesut Ozil, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, and Serge Gnabry are playing at the Emirates Stadium.
