Rod Stewart has canceled a series of performances in the United States as he continues to recover from the flu, prompting uncertainty surrounding his scheduled appearance at the Glastonbury Festival later this month in England.

In a statement posted to Instagram on June 7, the 80-year-old singer announced the cancellation of four shows and the postponement of two. The canceled performances include three dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas—June 7, 8, and 10—as well as a June 14 show at the Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre in Stateline, Nevada.

His June 12 performance in Rancho Mirage, California, has been rescheduled for Sept. 20, and the June 15 show in Paso Robles, California, has been moved to Sept. 21.

“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” Stewart wrote. “So sorry my friends. I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and we’ll see you soon — Sir Rod 💔.”

The announcement follows a series of cancellations earlier in the month. On June 1, Stewart postponed a show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace just hours before he was scheduled to perform, citing illness.

“I am sorry to inform you that I’m not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,” he said. “Your tickets will be valid for the new date.”
Three days later, on June 4, he canceled the June 5 performance at the same venue following his doctor’s advice. “My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu,” he told fans.
Stewart, who was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, previously announced his plans to scale back international touring after the current run. However, he made it clear that he has no intention of retiring.
“This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire,” he said in a statement posted to social media in November 2024. “I love what I do, and I do what I love.”

Despite recent health concerns, the singer highlighted his vitality and enthusiasm for performing. “I’m fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly age of 79,” he added.

Stewart’s current “One Last Time Tour” launched in March and is scheduled to continue through mid-August, with additional dates across the United States. His residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is also expected to resume in the fall.

Whether Stewart will be well enough to perform in the highly anticipated “Legends” slot at Glastonbury on June 29 remains to be seen.
