Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform at the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, organizers announced, placing one of Italy’s most celebrated musical figures at the center of the global event.

Bocelli is scheduled to appear during the opening ceremony on Feb. 6, 2026, at San Siro Stadium in Milan, a venue synonymous with Italian sports and culture. The performance will be broadcast worldwide as athletes from dozens of countries gather to mark the official start of the Winter Games.
